Benfica's women's roller hockey team kicks off the semi-finals of the National Championship play-off this Friday, June 10, at 5:30 pm, at the CACO pavilion. Paulo Almeida and Maria Sofia Silva previewed game 1 of the tie, which they intend to "solve on Sunday".
Benfica advanced in the play-off of the national title by beating Stuart Massamá in game 1 and game 2 of the quarter finals, by 0-4 and 3-1, respectively. CACO, in turn, had to go to black (game 3) with Sanjoanense (2-1).
"It will be an extremely difficult game. CACO starts the semi-final at home, in their pavilion, and Benfica goes there to win the game. 50 minutes to win every game", predicted Paulo Almeida, speaking to BT
