Belenenses won the Iberian Rugby Cup today, for the first time in their history, after beating Santboiana, in Catalonia, by 45-15, a result that does justice to the enormous superiority of the Portuguese in the match.
The national champions thus joined the Iberian title to the Portuguese Cup and the Super Cup, now holding all the trophies in dispute, and celebrated their first international trophy, after the defeats in the three finals played previously, in 2003/04, 2018 /19 and 2020/21.
