The Euro2024 finals will take place in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, between 28 November and 15 December.
Portugal is in Group C and will compete in Basel, Switzerland, with its debut scheduled against Spain on 28 November, followed by Poland two days later and France on 2 December.
The Portuguese national team coach, José António Silva, today called up 17 players for the women's European handball tournament, which will take place from 28 November to 15 December in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
The call-up has reduced the number of players on the final list for the tournament from 20 to 17, which will represent only Portugal's second ever participation in a final phase, with Rita Campos, Débora Moreno and Joana Semedo being eliminated.
