Ivo Oliveira won the silver medal in the individual pursuit event at the European Track Championships, in Zolder, Belgium.

With the medal already secured during the afternoon, it remained to be seen whether it would be silver or gold. The Portuguese ended up coming second, beaten by the British Josh Charlton.
