 Salomé Afonso was crowned European runner-up in the 1,500 meters this Friday, with 4.07.66 minutes.

At the indoor European Championships taking place in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands, the Portuguese woman had a fantastic final part and was only beaten by the new champion, the French Agathe Guillemot, with 4.07.23. The podium was completed by the British Revee Walcott-Nolan, with 4.08.45. Patrícia Silva finished in 7th place, with 4.09.97 minutes.

Isaac Nader won the bronze medal this Friday, in the final of the 1,500 meters at the European Short Track in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands. The Portuguese finished with 3.37.10 minutes, behind Frenchman Azeddine Habz, with 3.36.92, and Norwegian champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen, with 3.36.56 minutes
