José Gonçalves, Wave-Boavista, is the new national champion contrarrelógio, won the title this afternoon in Pataias, Alcobaça. The 34 miles were completed in 42.44 minutes, less than 29/2 Ricardo Vilela (EFAPEL) and the third one minute, Sergio Sousa, the same team.
Major Nelson were absent in Pataias Oliveira, who did not defend the title, Tiago Machado (both from RadioShack) and Rui Costa (Movistar).
