Hundreds of people were on Thursday to receive the National Team at Lisbon airport, in an atmosphere of great excitement and enthusiasm. After being eliminated on penalties against Spain in the semi-finals of Euro'2012, the National Team has received much applause on his arrival in "home". The plane carrying the players and coaching staff arrived at 18H12 to Lisbon.
Upon arrival in Lisbon, the players were treated to songs of support for selection led by Paul Benedict, who made the journey to the bus under a standing ovation.
The area of the airport arrivals of the Portuguese capital was painted red and green colors of the flag of Portugal. Hundreds of flags and scarves won "life" when the players arrived.
