Cycling World Championships Portugal national team

Cycling World Championships take place on the 23rd of September in Limburgo Holland,
Portugal head coach Jose Poeira called the following cyclists
Portugal qualified with 4 cyclists,
Rui Costa Movistar Team 25 yr old Switzerland Tour winner, finish on the top 20 on the Tour of France,
13th in the Olympics, 3rsd in Quebec, and 8th in Montreal.
Andre Cardoso 28 yrs old, Caja Rural Team  finished the Tour of Spain, LA Vuelta in 21st place,
competing on the fourth straight World Championship.
Sergio Paulinho 32 yrs old, Saxo Bank, 2004 Greece Olympics Silver medal called for the first time since 2009, helped A Contador on the win of 2012 La Vuelta.
Bruno Pires 31, Saxo Bank, called for the first time since 2005 to the World Championships, also helped A Contador on the 2012 in of La Vuelta in Spain.

Out of the world championships are Tiago Machado Radioschack team, Manuel Cardoso, Casa Rural both finished the La Vuelta in Spain
Hugo Sabido LA Antarte finished second on the 74th Tour of Portugal, veteran Rui Sousa Epafel team was 3rd, and upcoming star Bruno Silva Onda Boavista team finished 4th
