Cycling Dauphine - 6th stage Voeckler the winner, Sergio Paulinho now 28th

Voeckler wins sixth stage of the Dauphiné





Frenchman Thomas Voeckler (Europcar) won the sixth stage of the Dauphiné criterion by imposing up to sprint the Spaniard Jesus Herrada, the Belgian Kevin Seeldrayers and Russian Egor Silin.

The quartet escaped about 30 kilometers from the finish, located in Grenoble, leaving the bulk of the squad to 46 seconds. Voeckler, 33, turned out to be the strongest and won his first victory of the season.

Briton Chris Froome (Sky) remained among the main opponents and took the lead. Sérgio Paulinho also come integrated into the squad, but jumped to 28. Third position overall. José Mendes already lost more than five minutes and is ranked 83. Third position.
