#Portugal solidarity games with #SaudiArabia and #USMNT raise 707 thousand euros close to 1 million dollares



Amount donated by the Portuguese will be fully applied by the FPF in the reconstruction of houses of first dwelling of victims of the fires of this summer

The social campaign, "Solidarity Games", created by the Portuguese Football Federation, raised the total amount of 707,545 euros (plus 161,600 euros of VAT to be delivered to the State). The amount will be used, in its entirety, in the reconstruction of houses of first housing of families in need in the municipalities affected by the fires that decimated Portugal this summer.

€ 707,545 is the result of the contribution of the Portuguese and the most varied companies through the telephone line created for this purpose (760 200 200), donations (through the number 213 246 270 and directly to FPF) and the net revenue of Portugal x Saudi Arabia and Portugal X USA, played in Viseu and Leiria, respectively.

There were also several entities that allied themselves to this initiative and without which it would have been impossible to obtain this result.

From the operators Altice, NOS and Vodafone, to the three generalist television channels - RTP, SIC and TVI -, sports newspapers - A Bola, Record e O Jogo -, Rádio Comercial and dozens of other companies.

The "Solidarity Games" campaign has become a national movement that united Portugal around a single cause: helping the victims of the fires.

Line 760 200 200: 415,904 euros (result of 693,174 calls)

Donations through the number 21 3246270 and directly to the FPF: 136,318 euros

Net revenue of the two games: 155,323 euros

The net revenue of the games is the result of the value of the tickets sold for the meetings of Viseu and Leiria (23,510 tickets, for the two games), discounting the following organization charges: policing, security, lighting, ticketing, accommodation and VAT (23 percent).

The two games had 25,794 spectators (6,778 in Viseu and 19,016 in Leiria). For contractual obligations, the FPF paid 2,284 tickets (455 in Viseu and 1,829 in Leiria).

In all of the two games, the FPF abdicated 286,707 euros of ticket revenue.

The VAT generated by "Solidarity Games" and delivered to the State will be 161,600 euros, corresponding to 23 percent of the value of calls to the number 760 200 200 and 23 percent of the value of tickets sold for both games.
