Benfica's women's basketball team defeated Imortal, by 61-56, this morning on Easter Sunday, April 9, at Pavilhão Fidelidade, in game 3 of the quarterfinals of the Liga Betclic play-off. This result takes the eagles to the semi-finals of the National Championship. Marta Martins scored 17 points and was the most accomplished.
Benfica's triumph in Game 2 of the quarterfinals saw eagles and Imortal meet again, for a game that was like a final.
