Benfica's pre-season will take place in Águeda. According to what Jornal O Record found, the reds will compete  on the 12th and 13th of July, matches that are part of Agitágueda, an event that will take place in that city in the district of Aveiro. Farense is one of Clube da Luz's opponents, and the other opponent is expected to be a Spanish team, but it is not yet confirmed which one.

It should be noted that the Águeda Executive recently approved a protocol, which will be signed with the Reds at that time.
