After the 'gold' obtained at the Junior Ice Speed ​​Skating World Cup, on February 9, the objective now is to guarantee presence at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, in Italy, but, to do so, it is necessary to carry out individual competitions, which will take place later this year. "In September, I'm going to fight to get the minimum for the senior World Cups, try to move up to division A and get into the top 16," she revealed.






This Sunday, Portuguese Jéssica Rodrigues became world junior champion in ice speed skating, in the mass start discipline, in Collalbo, Italy, winning Portugal's first world title in winter sports.

The 18-year-old Madeiran skater entered the history of national ice sports by winning the title at the World Championships being held in Collalbo, in a competition in which Francisca Henriques, also from Portugal, was fourth. Jéssica Rodrigues finished the competition with 32 points, surpassing Spain's Rodríguez Cornejo (21) and North American Marley Soldan (10), with Francisca Henriques adding six points
