U20 Portugal --2- Nigeria -1- F Toulon Tournament will face France for the bronzer medal

Portugal will fight for the podium
The sub-20 lusos Nigeria won 2-1 in their last match in the group stage and will fight for 3. Place in Toulon Tournament.

The U-20 National Team played against Nigeria the possibility of a presence in the play-3. Place. The Team of Quinas won, 2-1, and benefited from the tie (1-1) between Mexico and Belgium

After a victory (2-0, forward from Belgium), a defeat (2-0, with Brazil) and a draw (3-3 in clash with Mexico), and another victory against Nigeria, a team of Quinas won second place in Group B and the presence in the penultimate game of the competition against France.

 
Portugal had to wait for the outcome of the match, between Mexico and Belgium, to see if would be nice on Saturday. Departing for the last round Portugal and Mexico totaled four points, but the formation of Central America had the advantage on goal difference (five scored and four conceded, while Portugal has five scored and five conceded). With today's results, Portugal started to add two more points than Mexico.

 
The game that will be up for grabs third place between France and Portugal, will be played on Saturday (June 8), by 14h30 (13h30 local) at Stadium du Ray in Nice, while the final between Colombia and Brazil is scheduled for 16:30 (17:30 local), at the same level.


Ricardo Esgaio fulfilled punishment
 
The Portuguese player was warned with a yellow card in the games against Belgium and Mexico and served one-match ban against Nigeria.
